The steps
A release can also be cancelled, and stays on record.
- Docs pending: the claimant has called; tell them what to bring.
- Scheduled: documents checked, fee set, pickup time booked.
- Released: the vehicle is out the gate.
Holds come first
Vehicles on a police or investigative hold are marked on the lot, so the desk sees the hold before starting a release.
Send the claimant the fee
Email the claimant their release page with the fee and your payment link, so they arrive knowing what they owe.
